ABOUT OUR FOOD Many of our menu items are different than other places around Roanoke. Some of our more traditional or what I refer to as ‘real’ Mexican menu items are our Mexican tacos, Tortas, Chile Rellenos – made the traditional way with poblano chiles…, Mexican Sopes, Flautas and Mexican Enchiladas. Our dessert Flan is made in-house by our head cook and is just delicious! We also serve Ceviche, which is a popular seafood dish in many latin American countries. Additionally, most dishes can be made Vegetarian! |

HOW IT WORKS Here’s how it works when you come into Alejandro’s on weekdays during lunch... We have two huge menu boards on the wall where you order your food. You look it over and when you have decided what you want, you step over to the counter, place your order and pay for your meal. We then give you a number to place on your table so that we know where to bring your order. You are given a cup to fill your own drink, you grab your straw and silverware next to the soda machine, and find a table to sit at. Then you get to go up to our delicious salsa bar and choose from 12 different salsa bar items to go with your chips (or to pour over your tacos/food). It’s basically self-serve during this time. Then, at around 2p.m. (and all day on weekends), we have table service where you are seated by one of our servers or hostess. The only thing that you will have to do yourself is make your way to the salsa bar and choose what you’d like to try. |
